Great staff and good location, beautiful views of the mountain side. just about a 15 minute ride from the center. there’s also a beautiful waterfall you can walk to from the hostel (about 30 minute walk) it’s a great place to hangout for the day and pretty private too, good for swimming as well!
Munnar is rich with many beautiful locations, one of which is the Monkey Tribe Hostel itself. Not because of the view it offers or the cleanliness and taste it provides, but because of people like Wang Jam, Kimbuibou, William, and Chatlom. They are some of the nicest and friendliest people I have met during my trip to Kerala, along with the friends I made there.
So, all in all, do give them a try and stay at this property to experience it for yourself.

I originally booked a 3-day stay, but ended up extending it to a week because the experience was so fantastic. The location is absolutely worth visiting – breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that really make the trip special. From the accommodation to the tours they organize, everything was seamless.
I'm really happy with the space .. the doms ,washroom, maintanence n hygiene is kept up.to the mark ...very peaceful n spacious place with great view from hill top .......at very affordable price.
